The Paper Clip Prodject

The other day i while i was in 2nd period my teacher put on one of the most LIFE CHANGING!!!movies i have ever seen. Its nown as the paper clip prodject..., its about the 8th grade class [ recodnisse how i said the 8th grade class and not one of the 8th grade classes] at the only middle school in Whitwell, tennassee. In their little nestlesed town in whitwell there are three schools and a small population of 1,602 people. In my opinion the children who live there are missing out on alot in life. The only culture they now of is their own adn at the middle school in particular there are five black children one hispanic child and the rest are white. One night the teachers were having dinner with the principal at their school and one of the teachers decided that the students needed to be opened up to different cultures and the things that go on outside their little town. So they decided to teach them about the holocaust. Everything was going smoothly, one day while the 8th grade class was being tought that 30000 people were killed during the holocaust then one of the student asked what does 30000 peolle look like. the teacher then told the students to come up with something that they can colect to come up with 30000 of that object so the students can see what 30000 million looks like. for the next 2 weeks the students research and come up with a plan they decide to ask people to send them paper clips. They asked celeberties family friends any body they could think of. After months of excepting they finally reached their goal of 30000 paper clips and they created a memorial for all of the jewish people who had been alive during the holocaust...!!!!!
